The Premium Offset Intake Rod Pump Gas Separator is designed to separate free gas from wellbore fluids prior to entering the pump eliminating many pump related problems such as gas locking, decreased production rates and reduced efficiencies.
The Offset Intake design automatically places the separator to one side of the casing creating a wide annular passage to one side to encourage the natural gas migration to surface. The narrow annular passage on the opposite side enables more liquids and less gas to enter the separator.
Sizing is as simple as determining your pump volumes and choosing a separator size that will accommodate the maximum expected pump rate. This design allows for multiple units to be run in an offset configuration.
Premium ALS offers Regular Steel Housing and Stainless Steel Housing separators. The Stainless Steel housing offers superior protection in corrosive environments and greatly extends the life of the tool.
