The Premium Insert PC Pump Torque Anchor is a unique dual anchor, specifically designed for Insert PC Pumps installations.
The design of the anchor enables free left and right hand rotation while running in with an Insert PC Pump on a sucker rod string. Once the cup seal assembly, installed below the Premium Insert PC Pump Torque Anchor and Insert PC Pump, is stung into the PSN, the anchor engages the inside wall of the tubing and allows only a 1/8 turn left or right.
The right hand torque of the Insert PC Pump is held by the Premium Insert PC Pump Anchor, similar to a typical tubing torque anchor. Additionally, any left hand rotation from the backspin of the rotor will be held by the anchor as well, preventing any damage to the cup seals and the PSN.
When it is time to pull the Insert PC Pump, the Premium Insert PC Pump Torque Anchor automatically disengages and again allows free left and right hand rotation for tripping out of the well.
The Premium Insert PC Pump Torque Anchor is available for all tubing and casing sizes with a variety of connection sizes and types.
